Pre-Sale Preparation
Full presentation detail to maximize appeal and perceived value before listing or trade-in.

A typical boat detail covers exterior hull wash, topside cleaning, non-skid scrubbing, interior wipe-down, glass polishing, and metal brightening. We also apply appropriate surface protection based on your vessel’s finish. Services like oxidation removal, specialized interior work, and ceramic coating are separate add-ons quoted individually based on condition and time required.
We work at both marinas and on trailered boats. Our mobile service brings equipment and water supply to yacht clubs, marina berths, home driveways, and storage yards. Access requirements and tidal restrictions at some marinas may affect scheduling, so we coordinate timing during your booking.
Most boat details take 4-8 hours depending on vessel size, condition, and services requested. Smaller runabouts typically take half a day, while larger cruisers or boats requiring correction work may need a full day. We provide time estimates during assessment based on your specific vessel and requirements.
Remove personal items from areas being cleaned, ensure access to water and power if available, and clear surrounding workspace. If at a marina, confirm any access restrictions or tidal considerations. We bring our own equipment and supplies, so you don’t need to provide cleaning materials.
Perth’s salt air and intense UV typically require maintenance every 3-4 months for regularly used boats, or twice yearly for occasional-use vessels. Marina-stored boats exposed to constant humidity may need more frequent attention, while trailered boats stored under cover can often go longer between services. Usage patterns and storage method affect maintenance frequency more than general timelines.
